Mr Simon Xie
Country Head, Funding Societies, Singapore

Simon Xie is a banking professional with 12 years of experience in financial services. As the Country Head of Funding Societies Singapore, he leads the Sales, Partnerships, Operations, Credit, and Collections teams to drive organizational strategy and execution. He was Founder and Managing Director at investment firms before joining Funding Societies where he led the FinTech past its $100million origination milestone. Simon has managed more than $100million in assets throughout his career and is an MAS representative.

Mr Sam Gibb
Managing Partner at Resolution Ventures

Sam has extensive experience in traditional finance, having spent a decade in hedge fund, private equity and venture capital. He was previously responsible for Endeavour Ventures, a seed-stage sector agnostic fund that was focused on Southeast Asia. Before that, he was an assistant portfolio manager at Symphony Financial Partners, where he was responsible for Asian equity analysis and allocation. Before joining Symphony, he was responsible for the valuation team at Quvat Management, an Indonesian private equity firm. Before moving to Singapore, Sam was a portfolio manager at Milford Asset Management in New Zealand, responsible for trans-Tasman mandates.

Ms Regina is a Manager, Business Advisory with SME Centre. Prior to joining as a Business Advisor, she worked as a Debt Counsellor. Her experience working in this industry has given her the opportunity to assess many businesses and share with them the available financing options. Her previous working experience involved liaising with clients who are mainly facing debt issues, hence she is able to empathize with the predicament that the SMEs are facing. She is always looking forward to being part of building SMEs future developments by identifying their business needs and providing practical advisory for them.
