Bobby Hiranandani, son of property tycoon Asok Kumar Hiranandani, joined Royal Group in 2009 after he graduated in Building and Construction Management. Bobby brings the necessary skills in building and developing hotels and offices which complements with the overall group’s strategy and philosophy.
Bobby, as Royal Group’s Co-Chairman, has embarked on most ambitious projects by acquiring hotel properties, developing and overseeing the hotel management to make sure that maximum revenue is attained.
Royal Group hospitality portfolio includes SO Sofitel Singapore, Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa, DoubleTree by Hilton Kuala Lumpur, Hilton Garden Inn Kuala Lumpur and Raffles Sentosa Resort and Spa Singapore, set to open in 4th quarter of 2024. The resort will be the first villa-only hotel in Singapore and is designed by renowned Design studio Yabu Pushelberg, founded by Canadian designer George Yabu and Glenn Pushelberg, designed the resort, including the landscaping, lighting and interiors and an exciting new upcoming hotel along Singapore’s Orchard Road belt formerly known as Ming Arcade.
Other than hospitality, the group also owns various real estate properties which include residential, office towers, retail and industrial properties in different prime locations of Singapore and has bought over many businesses through the years. Its portfolio spanning through Asia and Australia, looking at the growth in more developed markets and pushing out the rest of the world in certain areas of Europe, London and America.
As Royal Group’s Co-Chairman, Bobby will continue to implement proactive measures to enhance the hotel properties – improve operational performance.
Bobby’s aim is to align with the globally renowned premium hotel operators and focus on key gateway cities of Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and London. Conduct additional refurbishment programmes on selected properties which will be aimed at maintaining and improving the image and attractiveness of the properties to increase patronage.
