Internationalisation Series: Market Opportunities Across Southeast Asia – Malaysia

Event Introduction:
The SME Centre@SICCI, in collaboration with Orissa International, is organising the fourth workshop in the workshop series to help companies explore market opportunities across Southeast Asia. In this session, the focus will be on Malaysia.

Decades of growth and stability have made Malaysia an industrialised economy, one of the most open in the world with a trade-to-GDP ratio averaging over 130% since 2012. Foreign companies benefit from the country’s developed infrastructure, English-speaking business and consumer environment, a well-established legal framework.

This workshop will provide participants with:
• a brief economic overview of Malaysia and some key sectors in the country,
• case studies to showcase how some Singapore companies have approached the Malaysian market.
