Financial management is one of the core capabilities in all business. Sound financial management will help to build a successful and sustainable business.

This workshop is tailor-made for busy SME business owners, non-financial staffs to learn basic skills in financial management. It will be conducted in layman terms and language to maximize the learning outcome.

Mr Alan Luk, Principal Consultant, Clooud Consulting

Alan Luk is passionate to support SMEs in increasing efficiency, effectiveness and sustainability and developing new revenue streams for any business. Currently, Alan is the Principal Consultant for Clooud Consulting and a part-time lecture to deliver MBA classes.  He has more than 20 years of consulting experiences in Financial Management, Internal Audit, Risk Management and Operation Management (Lean Six-Sigma). He is a Chartered Accountant with ISCA, a Qualified Individual with ACRA, a PMC consultant (Practising Management Consultant) for Government Grants and a Six-Sigma Black Belter. Alan has wide experience working with MNC’s and Listed Companies such as Canon, Honeywell, Isetan, RGMI, GMG (Sino-Chem subsidiary) and Big 4–Deloitte.

Mr Syed Saleem Ali Shah, Manager, Business Advisory, SME Centre@SICCI

Saleem Shah has advised many SMEs, start-ups and aspiring entrepreneurs across different industries/sectors in enhancing productivity and fund-raising. Actively participating in external talks and “walking the ground”, Saleem has assisted SMEs /start-ups in navigating the various forms of assistance which are offered by the Singapore government. Possessing first-hand experience in a start-up, MNCs and the government sector, Saleem has formed a well-rounded approach in his advisory sessions in both understanding companies’ needs/issues and guiding them to the most relevant forms of assistance. Saleem graduated with a BSc in Accounting and Finance from the University of London, following through on his passion in finance.
