Overview

The marketing funnel is defined by three main stages which customers go through - Awareness, Consideration and Decision-making.

The four elements of the marketing mix that impacts a customer's decision journey is Product, Price, Place and Promotion.

Once a business understands how marketing mix can influence it's marketing strategies, it is key to identify which online and offline platforms will target the consumers better. It is also important to profile customers and align a brand's core identity to build efficient marketing campaigns.

Nowadays, customers have the luxury of interacting with brands on multiple channels, and this furthers the need to build closed-loop mechanics with a deeper understanding of their psyches.

To tackle these multiple channels, SMEs should know the latest digital channels and overlapping disciplines in lead generation, deal flows, profiling analytics and customer relationship management.

Business Advisors

Ms Kritika Rajwani and Ms Kameshwari Jayapragas are Business Advisors at SME Centre@SICCI. They advise SMEs on government assistance schemes and have delivered marketing workshops and group-based diagnostics. Their backgrounds are in Business Management and Marketing which has enabled them to value-add to their clients.

Expert Speaker

Mr Arvin Tang is the managing director of AKÏN. He champions integrated brand campaigns and go-to market strategies for clients, and has since fulfilled Brand and Marketing Strategy consultations for clients such as ASUS (regional) and Prime Minister’s Office (Singapore).

Prior to his appointment at AKÏN, Arvin was an investment analyst for venture capital firm Mumbai Angels in India. He has amassed international work experience across various marketing, education and investment verticals.

The NUS NOC alumni is a certified associate of Emergenetics®, a profiling methodology centred on enhancing productivity and communication.

He volunteers as an Executive Committee Member of SAFRA Punggol, Singapore Computing Society Youth Council and is an active mentor for youths through social enterprise Quartz Initiative.
